Thinking about education is prime most in everyone’s life, there are some students who have a dream to complete their further study but they are not financially strong. For helping such candidates, the University of York is offering the York Bursary.
This award is available to UK /EU students who want to study an undergraduate degree course at the university for the academic year 2019/20.
The scholarship will provide an amount up to £1,000- £2,000 for the successful students. For further information please check the given details.
Eligibility
In order to be eligible for the York Bursary, you must:
- be a UK or EU resident
- have a residual household taxable gross income of £35,000 or less (including pensions)
- be studying full-time at the University in 2019/20 and be paying the UK /EU fee rate
- be registered on an undergraduate degree course
- Social Work students will only be considered for the York Bursary in years when they do not receive the NHS Social Work Bursary
How to Apply
For apply, applicants need to take admission in an undergraduate degree at the university, there is no separate application required for the process. They will automatically assess your eligibility based on your residual household income using the information supplied in your application for Student Loans.
For eligible students will be informed by the end of October 2019. Please apply as soon as possible.
