The Newcastle University is pleased to announce the Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarships for the outstanding students for the academic year 2019/20. The scholars will be awarded worth up to 50% -100% tuition fee waivers.
There are 41 grants for a master’s degree offered by the university. The bursary is designed for international students and providing financial support for those eligible candidates. For more details please check the information given below.
Applicants, who wish to be considered for this award, must have to meet the following criteria:
- To apply for 50% tuition fee waiver grant, aspirants must have the nationality of Algeria, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Ecuador, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Peru, Thailand, Turkey, USA, and Venezuela.
- To apply for 100% tuition fee waiver grant, candidates must have the nationality of India, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, and Uganda.
- They must have an undergraduate degree of any recognized university.
- They must hold a master’s degree program at the university for the academic year 2019/20.
How to Apply
In order to apply for this bursary, students have to take admission for the postgraduate degree at the university. After that, they can apply for this grant through an online portal.
The closing date of the application is June 28, 2019.
