Applications are open for the Rhodes Scholarships funded by the Rhodes Trust at Oxford University in the academic session 2019/20.
A fully funded award is presented for students who want to pursue a postgraduate degree at the university. There is one Rhodes scholarship is available for West African candidates.

Eligibility
Aspirants will be considered only when they meet the given criteria:
- They must be a citizen of Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, the island of Saint Helena, Senegal, Sierra Leone, São Tomé and Principe and Togo.
- They must have completed an undergraduate degree from a university with the highest classification your University awards, e.g. First Class Honours, or a Distinction in the case of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy courses.
- They must have an offer to study a postgraduate degree at the university.
How to Apply
To apply for the grant, applicants have to enroll themselves for a postgraduate degree at the university. Thereafter, they can apply for the bursary through an online portal.
The closing date of the grant is September 30, 2019.
