Nigel Thompson Memorial Scholarships are open to the most academically talented students from families of lower-income. This is a wonderful opportunity offered by the Department of Economics to apply for this educational funding.
The bursary is designed for UK/EU students who want to pursue an undergraduate degree course in the Department of Economics at the University of York.

Eligibility
To be eligible, you must:
- Have received a formal offer to study at the University of York
- Study a 3-year undergraduate degree course in the Department of Economics
- Family income must be less than £35,000 per annum
- When applying for your student finance, you and your parents must grant consent to Student Finance to share your household income assessment with the University. This enables us to check eligibility.
How to Apply
In order to apply for this award, applicants need to take admission in an undergraduate degree at the university. After confirmation, eligible candidates can apply for the scholarships via email.
