There are various scholarships presented by the British Council for the D/deaf and disabled artists to participate in major conferences and a festival in Europe for the academic year 2019/20.
The bursary is open for the UK independent applicants, who are D/deaf and disabled artists and producers working in performing arts. The successful candidates will receive a £500 bursary for each event they attend. The award is contributed towards travel, accommodation, daily costs and show tickets for the scholars.

Eligibility
To be considered for the studentship, applicants have to follow the given conditions:
- They must have the nationality of the UK.
- They must have proof of their disability and their talent.
- They must be willing to attend the IETM Rejika (24–27 October 2019), No Limits Festival Berlin (7–16 November 2019), IETM spring 2020 (dates and location to be confirmed).
