The Strathclyde Business School is offering the masters scholarships for outstanding candidates for the academic year 2019/20.

UKEU students are eligible to apply for this funding opportunity and this award is designed for those who wish to apply for a master’s degree course at the university.  Up to 20 scholarships available to deserving candidates and the value of the award is £3500.


The Scholarships will be awarded on merit, rather than financial need, to candidates who demonstrate in their Masters programme application excellent academic performance (current and/or previously gained); any relevant extra-curricular or professional experience and career development and who will contribute to the overall academic, cultural and experiential profile of the programme cohort.

Candidates for all Full-Time MSc programmes will be automatically considered for these scholarships so no separate scholarship application is necessary.

President’s PhD Scholarships at Imperial College London

The educational award is open to attract the brightest students from all over the world. The main purpose of this programme is to provide more than 50 research students with the opportunity to work within their chosen research field with the support of an outstanding supervisor.

The successful applicants will get the financial support for up to 3.5 years: full funding for tuition fees, a stipend of £21,400 per annum to assist with living cost and also receive a consumables fund of £2,000 per annum for the first 3 years of study.


  • Applications are accepted from talented candidates from Imperial College London, the UK and worldwide. There are no restrictions on nationality.
  • Candidates must be among the highest achievers in their undergraduate cohort, and in receipt of, or due to receive a first-class UK degree or equivalent.
  • Candidates with a standalone Master’s qualification must have achieved a distinction or, where this has yet to have been achieved, be able to provide evidence of high performance that will lead to a distinction. They must also hold a first-class UK undergraduate degree or equivalent (integrated Masters that form part of an undergraduate degree, e.g. MEng, MSci, M.Math, are assessed by Admissions as an undergraduate qualification when determining eligibility). Candidates with multiple standalone Master’s qualifications must have achieved a distinction in the one most relevant to their PhD study.
  • Candidates with degrees from overseas institutions are strongly urged to determine if their scores/grades are equivalent to the relevant eligibility criteria.
  • Prior to applying candidates must have made contact with a supervisor in an academic department at Imperial College London who has agreed to supervise their research project. Doctoral Studentships at City University of London

Chevening Scholarships in UK

Chevening offers new fully-funded scholarships for outstanding emerging leaders from all over the world in the United Kingdom.

These awards are open for those who want to undertake any master’s course at any UK university. The aim of this programme is to develop leadership skills and encourage healthy working relationships between team members, clients, other managers and the community at large.

To be eligible for a Chevening Scholarship you must:

  • Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country or territory.
  • Return to your country of citizenship for a minimum of two years after your award has ended.
  • Have completed all components of an undergraduate degree that will enable you to gain entry onto a postgraduate programme at a UK university by the time you submit your application. This is typically equivalent to an upper second-class 2:1 honours degree in the UK.
  • Have at least two years of work experience.
