This doctoral award is open for UK/EU and overseas students interested in working on the PhD thesis in the area of machine earning for computational photography.

The funding award will cover all approved University tuition fees and provide a tax-free maintenance allowance of £15,009 for 3 years. It also includes a budget for travel and research equipment.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this studentship, applicants must meet all given eligibility criteria:

  • This opening is suitable for a candidate with a Bachelor (UK first-class honours or equivalent) or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics or Mathematics.
  • Applicants must have very good programming skills and have a suitable background in computer vision, computational photography, and machine learning and/or computer graphics.
