Scholars who are searching for an opportunity to enhance their knowledge for Digital Twin Technology in Train Servicing and Maintenance. Here is good news, they can apply for the PhD studentship in the College of Engineering, Design and Physical Sciences at Brunel University London.
The studentship is open for UK students who want to commence a PhD degree course in October 2019 at the university. In this project, the applicants will develop DT technology for representing physical assets of train servicing with virtual models.
Each successful aspirant will receive an annual stipend of £17.009 plus and payment of their full-time home tuition fees for 3 years (36 months).
Eligibility
Successful candidates must have a first degree at or equivalent to 2:1 or above in a suitable engineering discipline, e.g. mechanical engineering, systems engineering, Mechatronics, or similar. A Master’s level qualification is desirable but not essential. You must also be eligible for home tuition fees.
