A new PhD Studentship is open for those candidates who want to enhance their research skills in the field of Chemistry. They can apply for this scholarship opportunity provided by the School of Life Sciences at the University of Sussex.
The education award is designed for the EU/UK students and they have the plan to commence their PhD degree in October 2019. The purpose of the research project is to fill major knowledge gaps and substantially advance their understanding of the risks and benefits of current practices versus alternatives.
This funded position which covers tuition fees, living expenses plus a stipend of £15,009 per year (tax-free) as well as travel costs in 2019-20.
Eligibility
Eligible candidates will have recently received an MSc and/or a First or high 2:1 BSc in a relevant subject. Candidates for whom English is not their first language will require an IELTS score of 6.5 overall, with not less than 6.0 in any section.
