A lot of students want to accomplish their higher education at Oxford University but they are unable to do due to lack of money. Oxford University is providing finial support for those students through Pershing Square Scholarship.
The grant is open for students from all around the world who want to pursue a master’s programme at the university. The bursary is providing 5 awards worth with an amount of at least £14,553 towards the living expenses and tuition fees of the scholars.
The educational award is designed for candidates who can demonstrate the potential and commitment to finding scalable and sustainable solutions to world-scale social challenges.
Eligibility
Applicants must have to fulfil the given criteria to become eligible for the grant:
- They must have an undergraduate degree from a recognized university.
- They must have excellent academic merit and achievements.
- They must have the ability to envision how to achieve scalable and sustainable solutions to the world-scale social challenges.
How to Apply
Candidates must have to take part in a master’s programme in order to apply for the grant at the university. They have to submit an essay with the admission application form of no more than 500 words addressing the question ‘How do you intend to change the world? What does this tell us about you as a person?’ From the application, eligible applicants will directly be considered for the scholarship.
The deadline for the applications of the bursary is January 2020.
