Newton’s Scholarship at University of Surrey, UK

The University of Surrey is warmly welcoming the talented scholars, who are wishing to get enrolled but unable to bear the expenses of the degree, by offering them a wonderful stipend named Newton’s Scholarship.

The educational award is open for the UK and EU students applying to pursue an undergraduate degree in mathematics at the university. The endowment is granting an amount of £3,000 plus £1,000 for a Professional Training placement to the successful applicants.

Eligibility

Aspirants must have to meet the requirements of the grant, in order to become eligible:

  • They must achieve AAA at A level, excluding General Studies or Critical Thinking (or equivalent*) and select the university as their first choice.
  • Their family income must have to be less than £30,000.
  • They must be assessed as the UK/EU scholars.
  • They must have a high school certificate with excellent academic merit.
  • They must hold a firm offer to study at the university.

How to Apply

To apply for the award, apprentices must have to enroll first in an undergraduate degree at the university. Thereafter, they can register themselves for the bursary by downloading an application form and then sending the completed application through email to bursariesandscholarships@surrey.ac.uk with required relevant documents.

The closing date of the applications for the studentship is August 31, 2019.
