The Manchester Writing School at Manchester Metropolitan University is delighted to accept the applications of Joyce Nield Scholarship from the students, who wish to enroll in September 2019 or January 2020.
The educational award is available for UK, EU, non-EU and Channel Island students who wish to claim an application for a postgraduate degree at the university. The grant is proposing an amount of £1417 per 30 credits per year for UK/EU scholars and £2584 per 30 credits per year for non-EU/Channel Island aspirants.
The studentship is designed to make an important contribution to the learning community of the Manchester Writing School on an international basis. Please check more information available about the grant in order to apply.
Eligibility
To be considered for the endowment, aspirants have to meet the need of the following conditions:
- They must be a citizen of a non-UK Commonwealth country.
- They must have to enroll for the MFA or MA Creative Writing programme at the university.
- They must have an undergraduate degree of any recognized university.
How to Apply
Students have to apply for the postgraduate degree at the university. Thereafter, if they are offered a place on the programme, then they can email to postgradenglish@mmu.ac.uk with “Joyce Nield Scholarship application” in the subject line, detailing the non-UK Commonwealth country they are a citizen of, and also how they would meet the criteria for a successful applicant.
The applications of the grant will not be accepted after August 31, 2019 (for September 2019 entry) and November 30, 2019 (for January 2020 entry).
