Manchester Metropolitan University is granting a comprehensive range of scholarship opportunities throughout the year and looking to support new international students.
These awards give the chance to study the undergraduate & postgraduate degree level programme at the university. All bursaries are specially designed for those who want to start their studies in September 2019.
The scholars will receive the award amount value of £2,000 for every year of study. Find out more about this scholarship and how you can apply.
Eligibility
To be eligible for an undergraduate degree, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria.
- Applicants must hold an offer for a full-time taught either 3-year, 4-year sandwich, or with an integrated foundation year Bachelors programme (120 credit), at Manchester
- Metropolitan University and begin their programme of study in September 2019
- Only courses charging standard overseas fees of a minimum £14,500 and being taught on the Manchester Campus are eligible
- Bachelor of Architecture applicants are excluded from this offer
- Applicants must be self-funding and classified as overseas students for tuition fee purposes
- Scholarships are only available for new undergraduate Manchester Metropolitan University Students, former students and current students moving from one course to another are not eligible.
- Applicants will have successfully met any conditions set for entry into the programme.
To be eligible for a postgraduate degree, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria.
- Applicants must hold an offer for a full taught Masters course (180 credit) at Manchester
- Metropolitan University and begin their studies in September 2019 or January 2020
- Master of Architecture applicants are excluded from this offer
- Scholarships are available to new Manchester Metropolitan University applicants; former
- Manchester Met students are not eligible for the scholarship
- Applicants must be self-funding and classified as overseas for tuition fee purposes
- Applicants who achieve a First-degree classification in their undergraduate studies may be eligible for the £2,000 scholarship
- Eligible applicants with a 2:1 classification undergraduate degree may be awarded a £1,500 scholarship.
- International qualifications will be compared with Manchester Met’s internal guidelines and all decisions made by the University’s Admissions Department regarding the degree classifications are final and cannot be appealed.
How to Apply
Applicants wishing to apply for this grant, they need to take part in one of the given courses at the university. The scholarship will be awarded automatically upon enrolment, no separate application is required.
The applications deadline is now open for entry in September 2019.
