The Université Grenoble Alpes and Swansea University are jointly inviting the UK/EU candidates for co-tutelle PhD programme focusing on “Novel Protein Interface to Improve Biocompatibility of Implantable Medical Devices”.
This scholarship covers the full cost of UK/EU tuition fees and an annual stipend of £15,009 every year. Additional funding is available from Swansea University to assist with travel, accommodation and immersive training experiences.

Eligibility
As this is a joint degree, applicants must meet the entry/funder requirements of both universities: a recognized master’s degree in Physics, Physical Chemistry, Engineering that preferably includes biomedical/chemical engineering courses (or major), and an appropriate English language qualification.
Candidates should have a strong background in thermodynamics/statistical mechanics and also possess strong mathematical and programming skills.
Due to funding restrictions, this scholarship is open to UK/EU candidates only.
