The Science and Technology Facilities Council is a UK government agency that offers up to 10 Ernest Rutherford Fellowships to early career researchers who do not have a permanent academic position.
This scholarship is designed to attract outstanding overseas, UK/ EU researchers in order to pursue a research degree programme at any UK university. The main purpose of this grant is to support future scientific leaders to establish a strong, independent research programme.
STFC will provide five years of funding that includes salary, travel, publication costs, other costs and many more. Please read more about this wonderful opportunity which is given below.
Applicants should hold a PhD at the time of applying for an Ernest Rutherford Fellowship.
Fellowships are open to applicants of any nationality.
