King’s College London is welcoming outstanding and financially weak candidates to enjoy the benefits of Dr Monica Malik Bursary for the academic session 2019/20.
The fund is intended to give aspirants, who are a UK postgraduate student from a forced migrant background, the opportunity to undertake study in an internationally recognized centre of excellence. The grant is worth £10,000, to help candidates towards the cost of your tuition fees and living costs for the year.
The bursary designed to support postgraduate students from diverse backgrounds to undertake their studies at King’s in 2019. For more details of the award please check the information given below.
Eligibility
To become eligible, applicants have to meet the requirements of the grant:
- They must have accepted a firm offer to study at King’s from Sept 2019.
- They must be from a forced migrant background (refugee, limited leave to remain, humanitarian protection) and be able to evidence this through your Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) or a visa sticker in your passport.
- They must have an undergraduate degree of any recognized university.
- The bursary is offered to study Law, Engineering, Dentistry, Nursing, Midwifery, Pharmacy, Pharmacology and Specialist postgraduate training for medical professionals at the university.
How to Apply
In order to apply for the educational award, aspirants have to enroll in a postgraduate degree at the university. Thereafter, they can register themselves for the grant by downloading the application form and completing it with the required relevant documents. The completed application will be sent through an email to funding@kcl.ac.uk.
The applications of the bursary will not be accepted after July 26, 2019.
