Do you want to advance your knowledge in nonlinear aeroelasticity? If so, you can apply for the College of Engineering Centenary PhD Scholarship at Swansea University.
This bursary is open to UK/EU candidates only and during this project, you will learn research techniques, especially new theoretical methods and aeroelastic flutter control methods in detail.
The scholarship covers the full cost of UK/EU tuition fees and an annual stipend of £15,009.
Eligibility
Candidates should hold a first-class honours degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering or similar discipline.
Familiarity with modelling in Matlab/Simulink and experience in experimental work involving real-time control systems (e.g. National Instruments, dSPACE) would be beneficial.
