Care Leaver and Estranged Bursary at King’s College London

If you are an estranged student and experiencing problems with your funding for your studies, then for you a wonderful opportunity of Care Leaver and Estranged Bursary is offered by the King’s College London.

The endowment is open for students who are willing to enroll themselves on an undergraduate degree in the year 2019 at the university. The grant is presenting a worth of up to £1,000 per year to the grantees.

The bursary is designed to provide financial support to the aspirants having the care-experience or estranged status and also to encourage them to accomplish their further studies at the university.

Eligibility

Applicants have to meet the need of the following conditions to become eligible for the grant:

  • Aspirants from all around the world are eligible whether they are going to claim an application or already make a choice at the university in the academic year 2019.
  • They must have a verified status of their care-experienced or estranged.
  • They must have a high school certificate for an undergraduate degree.

How to Apply

To apply for the award, apprentices must be already enrolled or have to enroll themselves for an undergraduate degree at the university. Thereafter, they have to provide UCAS and Student Finance England ‘consent to share’ their financial information with the college. From there they will be directly considered for the bursary.

The closing date of the applications for the studentship is June 1, 2020.
