Whether you are a student at the medical school in London or all UK-based medical students are welcome to apply for Akindolie Medical Scholarship for the academic session 2019/20.
The bursary is funded by the multi-award-winning businesswoman, Funke Abimbola in the memory of her father Dr Frank Olufemi Akindolie to encourage the UK medical students from a minority ethnic background.
The eligible participants will receive an amount of £1,500 together with a year’s leadership mentoring and support. So take a glance and get more information about this scholarship.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this award, they must meet the following requirements:
- Full-time students at a UK medical school. Students currently at secondary school and still considering a career in medicine are not eligible to apply
- From a BAME (Black and Minority Ethnic) background
- Must demonstrate both an excellent academic record and an exceptional, demonstrable track record of giving back to society outside their medical studies.
